Try to steal him the night from his owners (40% of chances to get 10-40% of damages)
Try to convince his owner to sell him for 4000 silfrens.

It seems that try as you might to get the stallion free of his chains, you can't..! You must not have the right key!.. Sadly, this means you need to leave to see if you can get the right one...
