one thing i like those older phone is their ruggedness . and battery last much longer.
Smart Phone: look at all my Apps and Features (Wifi,GPS,Bluetooth,Gyro/Accelerometer)... then Battey Drains in one Day.
DumbPhone:...Call/TXT...can take a beating & Keeps on Going upto a week. works most of the time

That's a pretty good idea actually. The "dumb" phone should have been bigger and "better built", just like the stereotypical bully.

I have a Nokia and I can safely say that is Β the best phone I could have! It's an old(ish) one like the one illustrated above, and it'll take any hit and I can play snakey.

If safety would be important, the old phone will win! No internet, no mails, no gps = no viruses, no hacking attacks, no spam, no exact tracking and of course no calls home!

And what happens if the phone slips out of your hand or falls off the table and hits the ground? The old one: pick it up, maybe you have to turn it on again, done! The new one: pick it up, look to the shattered display glass, hoping that the display itself isn't damaged, etc.
