So have you ever clarified how exactly the hole in their abdomen works? I know it's a control panel of sorts, but why be there if the earpieces are already doing the job, and much closer to the brain?

You can say it’s another input method to control them and also keeps control of them. Mostly works as manual overrides to gain access just in case.

i mean the person can claim to be creating realistic robots so they have to look real
