well, unfotunatelly this festival was only one time.....
I hope they will make more beautiful festival as this...usually it's during april month so you have alot of time to prepare youself for A visit here

Well i'm definitely coming back to visit someday. in a year and a half I will mostly likely come. I can't wait to see Arad again. I really miss the Negev

Yeah, the negev is an amazing place.
the fact you were lived there gives you the adventege of knowing hidden places.

oh and also, there are tons on sculptures and installations all over Arad and the rest of Negev. for example there is this iron caravan on your way from Arad to Eilat. at a certain time of the day it actually looks like silhouettes of real people and camels. and not far from Beer Sheva i think, there is this giant stone snake cut up into pieces. you can get some really cool photographs from the inside of that snake. but you likely heard about these too...

as you said, I know many of the places you mentioned but gush you have one unique memory for the age you were there!
I wish I had this memory at the age of 9 years old, lol...

BTW, every year there's A concert show in mezada during the sunrise.
I heard it's beautiful concert and very unique and profound expirience.

well maybe it wasn't really supposed to be a snake.. that's just what it reminded me of...

and i dont think its possible for me to forget all those places. the negev was my home for almost 9 years and i loved it. plus i have tons of photographs to remind me if i happen to forget.
I've heard about the concerts at Mezada, haven't been to one yet though. maybe when I come visit Israel next time I will check it out.

hidden.. hmm i didn't live there for over 10 years and i know things in Arad changed a lot since then, so places that might have seemed hidden to me before might have house standing there now. But for photography the best places to photograph are on the way from Arad to Yam hamelah. The view from Mizada is also amazing, try to get there before the sunrise and photograph the sunrise from the top of the mountain. and my favourite place of all was Ein Gedi. There are tons of things to photograph there, also right next to it i remember there was some archaeological sight or something like that. on your way down to Eilat there are also beautiful things to photograph. there is this one area where there are red sands and these giant sand mushrooms created by the winds. I guess these places aren't really hidden and you probably know about every single one of them, but they are extremely beautiful. I left Israel when i was 9 so as a young child i wasn't really able to discover hidden places...
