I like the contrast control of this photo.. you took advantage of an odd lighting situation to capture this scene that way. Its also very appropriate to the theme of the contest.

Thank you for the comment, you are right, the lighting was really special that day, the first snow of the season was on it's way. Also, the picture is taken in one of my favorite spots, where one can still enjoy the feel of beautiful unspoiled nature.

looks so much like my homeland
you can see that the weather can change rapidly .. because of a mountain-type terrain you cannot make predictions longer than maybe half a hour max .. the sky is changing from the right .. or maybe it's right after rain and its clearing from the left?
