BRS is a character created by huke, a Japanese artist. Hatsune Miku sang the song Black Rock Shooter inspired by this character and that's why many people confuse them for the same person. If you wanna know more about BRS you should check out the wiki

I played the game myself, and actually thought it was mediocre...maybe I'm just being picky, but I was expecting more from the gameplay and the graphics.
