I made this back summer 2012 when I was getting pretty into MLP. This is the second of two I did for different species from mythology. Never got around to releasing it either, and I think this is my favorite of the two. This was made to be a free to use coloring sheet for creating MLP characters. It is printer friendly, but could be taken into digital programs as well. I only ask that you please do not remove my watermark. You are free to alter the design though to suit your character. I kept the sheet lingo simple so everyone can understand it, even younger children if you would like to print it out for them.

Hippalectryon are creatures from mythology that are half bird [rooster specifically, but can be anything really] and half horse. So a good idea to go about it is to combine a horse with a bird species you like. Yes, they do have spurs, and their manes can be either feathers or hair, its left pretty ambiguous.
