Description
Edit: I changed some things! I made it a little more realistic by adding in some other territories. In reality, there'd be more in all shapes and sizes, but i think if any are going to be important, its these (for now). Faction affiliations are now listed in parenthesis by territory names and the map key cleaned up. Also, locations of lost science labs have been placed. Also added in the derpy logoHexaDoctrine is an Alternate Earth where magic and technology is at odds with each other, an old original project created by ~Genesisnx that I was later invited to. After a long wait with it sitting on the shelf, its been taken down and rehashed to take place in the far future of its universe. And while it consts entirely of OC's and Original content, the only exception would be the addition of Tony Stark. Its all in the name of fun. This earth is immensely flooded, with a lot of the ice caps melting and local climates abruptly shifting north and southward.
Tony Stark has become the slightly deranged and complete Tyrant of the Techs- a faction that abhors Magic and Mutants. Finding most of his power in conquering and promoting trade routes, as well as land grabbing and investing a lot of time in developing technology on his own. He has a difficult upbringing, and now lives in a constant state of paranoia- which you would never know upon meeting him. And only after watching some of his bizarre habits does one realize he is terrified of being snuck up on or some sort of assassination attempt. Hes not at all afraid of a fight and will use underhanded tactics of his own, but he is constantly on guard in case someone were to attack him when he is unaware.
Mutants aren't X-men, but rather individuals who have been warped by magic, usually before birth. It can create a variety of interesting effects and individuals, including shape changers or those with innate special magic talents. Bird/Feathered mutants are particularly rare, where as aquatic mutants seem to be particularly common.
I think my map making methods are improving, but are still rough around the edges. There are some typos, like 'whitch', but the file was getting so big I had to call it a day.

I wish I could read all of it (I simply don't get a larger picture), but the story seems pretty interesting. What is Midde-Europe like in this alternate world? As it seems to be largely intact, I assume it has the best living conditions of all the realms. Except for changing politics, I guess... I'm from Europe, so should I trust in the power of German engineering or in magic?
The United States... well, it looks like all the atomic weapons had malfunctions. The ash-gray area is disturbingly large. And Russia... is basically only a part of Siberia and not vice versa.

Well, I guess being a mutant isn't so bad, depending on the mutation. When I understand it right, some of those mutants are shapeshifters. But when I read further, it sounds like therianthropes are also included. In any case, mutants seem to be interesting in general. Not really like X-Men, of course, I get that. More like magically gifted.

You can be magically gifted without mutations, but they often go hand and hand. This is usually how shape changers can manipulate their forms through an innate magical sense that can be honed. Mages (a relative term i'll just use for those with magic talent without mutations) can learn shape shifting, but its far more difficult. That said, Mages get to have very broad magical skills where as mutants tend to be limited to certain talents. Mages have far more utility and can become quite powerful. They also are the prime lore keepers of Hexadoctrine.
If I could choose, I'd like to be a mutant i think! However just because the territory is in your home town doesn't mean you have to stay there either!
Technically my home town is flooded! >U
