What level is your THF? The hardest part of the quest is getting the carbuncle's ruby to drop. Then you just need to go about regular leveling places and eventually you'll run across the different weather effects to collect. Good luck with unlocking SMN.

I'm on phoenix too but no one plays FFXI anymore have blm 95 a smn 80 or 85 whm 85 blue mage near 80 red i forgot but yeah.
