Description
This piece is inspired by my friend 's hobby of high speed photography...I've been wanting to use the not-so-new cycles render for these past months... and also I wanted to give the howler (that's the canine) a beautiful and more photo realistic render...
so I've been learning how to use cycles for 3 days now, and this is one of my early render on cycles
actually I wanted to make this scene more horror by adding a dead body on the background surrounded by pack of howlers... but I think this is good for now...
Done in Blender 2.61 with cycles render and GIMP 2 for post processing. render time is about 40 minutes on 250 samples (CPU)... feedback is very appreciated...

yes reversing would be the smart thing to do, I sure wouldn't be running over anything with red eyes like that!

Thanks... Glad you like it...
(and yes, I am excited about cycles since now I have more firepower to throw more art to the world ^_^)
It's a new developed render engine for Blender 3D.
cycles runs on GPU, and can be used as a real-time preview render so you can work a lot faster, or you can use it for final render, since it's less biased, so it can produce more photorealistic render...
yet, cycles is still in early stage of development, and from what I read from the blender's mango project blog Improvement on cycles is one of the priority of the developer's team within next 6 months.
