That's a brilliant style, truly awesome work. Β As it is, it would look good as an actual 3D model, pencil even better

I'd be thankful to anyone that can help me to answer the 2 questions lingering in my head since the day I saw 3D artΒ Β
1. Based on what scale/reference/perspective we can decide the proper distortion to the picture?
2. Is it true that the 3D effect can only be seen/shown from a specific single point, or it can be perceived from any angle?

Dear Deviant,
Β
I have Favourited your deviation because I sincerely think it is worthy of such a title. If you are wondering why this message is so formal-sounding and impersonal in nature, it's because as a past non-DA user, I have been keeping all my favourite Deviations bookmarked in my browser for a couple of years, and I am finally uploading all those deviations unto my current DA profile! So while it is impractical for me to lay down a thoughtful comment for all these collected Deviations at this time, I want you to know that when I first came across your piece, it did (and still does) deserve a note of appreciation. I apologize for not being able to share individual comments at this time: your Deviation deserves it in my opinion!
Β
Thanks for reading,
DaniBeez

You should add pictures of your folded 3D ones on a flat surface, they perplex me. Very good!

Don't shut the book! He'll get squashed. Very neat. I think anyone who can draw like this has major talent and a mind that works different than most.
