I'm pretty sure that horse isn't bucking, but doing a flying lead change.

Definitely NOT a flying lead change. The brief period of elevation as the horse changes its leg pattern should be almost imperceptible to a viewer and there should be very little to no change in the horse's topline. The movement is intended to be very smooth and easy to ride.
