Don't you DARE give me that startled expression. You KNEW this was coming EVENTUALLY.Anyway, the story is everybody had a bet going on as to who could make Magnus say his catch phrase first. So they decided their best bet was to bombard him all at once. Starscream was just informing Magnus about the debate, he didn't even know there was a betting pool going on.
And yes, Magnum's a clever little rat, he knows his old man's weakness.
