Now that I'm finished with my OTP challenge, I'll go on with my illustrations of the Lotus Eaters Spirk fanfic ^^ I enjoy doing these so much <3

Yes indeed. But is it so Nimoy-like and Shatner-like... When I was reading it, I did not have Quinto and Pine in my head at all.
OK, they speak a little of a past awkward temporary Uhura-Spock relationship, there is the stuff of the Kirk/Prime Spock mind-meld... But really, it is so much TOS-like.
It really feels like a TOS universe and a TOS alternate universe. It doesn't feel like JJ Abram's universe. (othewise I think I would not have loved it so so much)
Maybe you could appreciate it if you do not focus too much on the JJ Abrams AOS specifities (New vulcan, uhura). And these are really not central in the story. This is quite anecdotic.
This is nearly exclusively a Spirk fanfic, I mean Spock and Jim ALONE on an alien uninhabited planet during about 12 of the 14 chapters. Trying to survive in a very adverse environment and progressively becoming aware of what they feel for each other <3 <3

(I became aware of the existence of Lotus Eaters thanks to . She referred to it in some of her OTP Spirk Challenge deviations. And was telling that it is her absolute favorite Spirk fanfic, despite the fact that as a principle, she usualy prefers TOS Spirk fanfic. )

I forgot to tell you that you'll find no "slashy" things in the Lotus Eaters, I mean no "two sweaty guys intentionally unintentionally locked in a dark room" thing, if you see what I mean. Spirk, but not slashy ^^
