That isnβt explained in movie. Itβs just Daigoro goes missing and his mother rampages. Then she dies and Daigoro is discovered now orphaned and is raised on an island. That is literally the start of the movie.

We can but itβs mostly if a banner maker decides to do one for fun or not. Banners arenβt really required for the KWCE matches. Iβve done some so sure.

Ok well what if red king was daigoro's father.
And daigara can be some sort of distant cousin species to red king's. This just due to the fact that daigara's suit is of red king's suit being used for the movie.
So if red king bumped into daigoro and when he fully gets a look at the hippo like kaiju you can imagine of red king being confused for a moment of why does said young kaiju looks familiar to him and if he sees daigoro's mother.
The skull kaiju will remember of the one night stand he had with daigara just due to mating season happening.

Yeah and plus just imagine of red king doing an "oh shit." Moment before daigara come at him with a rage on where the hell have you been, and you have to pay for child support. XD
But you can most definitely imagine that red king will personally train daigoro just because it's a matter of pride and legacy so to speak. Because red king is a kaiju that is all about strength and power and being number 1.
Well he'll have to make sure that he has an heir to carry his on legacy if he ever kicks the bucket.
