She stands bewildered at the burden she now bears.
The fallen child now stares, up.

Wherefore?

Through the forest picking up mushrooms.
Me and father never got lost.

They think of each other now and then, still.

Still.

The color of-
The persistence of time, memory
Autumn Rhythm leads

i've never thought of your paintings as dreamscapes, i'm sure many people do, but this one has almost a surrealist quality. the central figure is beautiful she seems much... tamer (?) than in previous paintings, are you mellowing Naik (or in love)

aside from the obvious Bacon influence here (if you'll permit me to make up words), its almost chagallian in style, almost

I think i was experiencing soft ranges of colorsand the style of bruswork for the "woman" in the middle got smooth, i wanted to create a non-agressive feeling, while i was looking at the pink tit i just made...so the the wholee mood really started to appear, it was gonna be more erotico-naΓ―ve than usual,well...sure i was smoother than usual, i dunno why lol, cuz actually i'm far to be in love and im pretty bad mood too these days Chris...

I just love all of your paintings but I think this is now my most favorite. The thought process and the brush strokes are just amazing, I am so envious of your talents.
