i like this one as well... i'm so attracted to this very loose style, and your work with it is amazing! i'd really love to try this, but i'm almost OCD... i always end up either adding too much or not having enough. but i'd love to get expressive with my media as you have in your paintings. this one has so much texture to it, but it doesn't detract from the central image/message. very lovely.

Your work is really interesting. I really like how it seems to go in and out of focus. It's almost as if (as the viewer) you've almost caught the look of the subjects face, but moved just before you could get a clear image. This automatically creates interest. Your work is Beautiful.

i love this painting 'bro'. i like the use of colour, your technique, you have distinctive style. the figure at first seems very straight forward until you look a little closer and see his face has been ever so slightly distorted/abstracted, he looks like a scrabbled man, lost in a mess of problems

thx, this is the best distorsion i made on a face i think, and the different elements, unconscious n conscious in the "background" ,i'm pretty statisfied with them too... i painted 2 years ago now but i'm going to work back on the subject matter. A friend of mine is photographer and has great shots of homeless people. But the fact is that i have to know the person a bit before to do this, so i prefer meet people for real , i ju st don't live in Paris anymore, but there are some very poor, marginal persons here too, in countryside,but they hide themselves, they still have a "house" sometimes.

bullshitss....i can do "portrait" in a anonymous way, or with few elements, a social group portrait, the problem is that should isolate (back...im writting this one year after)) more the figure tahn in my recent works...to keep a focus on the subject.
