Some more school related stuff. We had to design a character and then an environment to put the character in based on information the lecturers provided to us and aaAAAAAH, I'm so not used to drawing traditionally, especially as big as A3 ;_; (I usually draw so freaking tiny it's hilarious.) Sorry for the shitty perspective as well.All my multiliners are dead now I REALLY LIKED THEM

The perspective isn't shitty at all. I really love the way the picture is a bird's eye view and you sell it really well, that alone is what makes this piece really stand out for me in particular. I'm also a huge fan of the overall tone and design of your characters/landscapes and it all comes together really well here. You submit a lot of amazing artwork, but this is one of the few that I feel manages to stand head and shoulders as one of your best thus far.

dun worry about it! you are going to uni to do mistakes, so that you don't do them in the industry. UuU and watercolors are hard, but suddenly you understand everything. It's one of those things that you do a couple of times and suddenly you know how it works OUO and if you color it digitally you can't really do mistakes now, can you? >U>Β

I think this is like the only module we'll have that is strictly traditional, everything else is all 3D and photoshop and stuff oAo So I'll keep doing the mistakes akwruhsket. But I'm like shitting my pants about the next semester because we'll have to create characters and stuff again but this time make a 15 PAGE COMIC I CAN'T DO IT I CAN'T I CANNNN'TTTTTTTT
But I think we're allowed to draw it digitally so at least there's that....
...If I pass this module... then I'll think about it.... Like a small celebration ouo ....

Our second falcomi is a 12 page comic, and I found it wasn't THAT hard to put things on paper, what is more difficult is the flow and pace, because obviously you have more story to keep track of.Β

That's because you're doing illustration =u= technically I'm in 3D animation but the first year 3D anim, 2D anim, VFX and Game arts are all together so I have the option to switch to any of these when the school year is over.
But I'm really bad at comics I can never put the story into working panels ;A; hopefully they'll teach us some tricks. ..
we need 45 out of 100 I think xD but we also need to fullfill specific criteria to pass, and it feels like I haven't done enough sketching of designs oAo

It looks awesome! And there's no need to apologize for the perspective, you silly! Γ²AΓ³ *shakes fist* Often "wrong" or odd perspective looks more realistic(Not that I have any idea what you're talking about, I can't see any mistakes or shittiness D: ) Often when people get too obsessed with the perspective rules and rulers and stuff, the drawing just ends up stiff and the characters don't fit in at all with their soft lines. I think you did a GOOD job!Β

Yeah it might be that for the first two months the only drawing related stuff we did at uni was perspective, they were literally torturing us with it eAe so I see all the mistakes and it's bothering meeeee ;A; But it's mostly the fact that it Looks really empty and boring on the bottom half that Idon't like it afthdhrdfh
