Personally, I thought the fight was great. Then again, I'm not an animator or much of an artist for that matter. I tend to overlook imperfections a lot. But if you'd like to point them out to me, I'd be more than happy to learn to look for them

It was good, but way too dark. I could handle Penny's death, but Pyrrah. No.

Well all I gotta say about it that it's better than second volume because if you compare second volume with the third one it honestly make the second volume look like filler and its not even good filler.

While I personally love both characters feel as though Penny death was not emotional implementation on me because let's be honest here her character was very under development heck by the end of the volume they did not give us any clarity on penny death if she is in fact dead as Pyrrha let me just say if I was writing this I would have killed off jaune instead of pyrrha because in my personal opinion I found pyrrha more of a interesting character than jaune but I'll say one good thing about jaune but I'll say one good thing about him I like how they used him in this volume.

Yes, yes, you agree with me that would be piss poor writings and it would destroyed ruby character if they do that and just when ruby character getting interesting I love her this volume. I especially love her final fight with Roman and neo the part when she asked Roman "why is he doing this" proof the fact that ruby is child who don't understand how the real world works and right there is perfect way to writing and development her character. Show her that the world is not black/white as she thinks it is.

I have a personal theory about ruby sliver eyes power and how it may work now as you know if you rewatch the episode take note Qrow and Taiyang only talk about the Grimm dragon being "frozen" but if you remember Cinder was up there with her and she was right in range of her power but neither of them mention her I believe ruby sliver eyes power only works on the creature of grimm not human or faunus.
