A little strip with my version of the children of Kovu with Kiara and other OC's too.
Sorry if the dialogues are not very clear. I'm still training. I've chosen a definite font and color for each character, but that's just a useless detail.

In the first frame we have Chaka, the eldest son, taking his turn in the classic scene at the top of Priderock with his father. But, he doesn't seem to be interested in owning everything the sun touches.
I had changed my version of the Chaka design to look more like Kovu. But, other artists already had "their Chaka" almost identical, so I created another version. I'm crossing my fingers to be definitive.

Next we have Akilah, the future leader of the guard talking to her aunt Vitani. She's very smart and is always having moral crises. This time she decided to stop eating meat because she found it hypocritical that the leader of the guard feeds on the very beings she protects. Vitani tries to change her mind, but to no avail. The question that remains is: what will she eat from now on?

And at the end we have Shani, the youngest, having to face the constant teasing of Laini, the beautiful cub and darling of the kingdom, who is the first on the list to be Chaka's future bride and consequently, queen. Thanks to her, the princess earned the nickname "Hifashi" which means "reservation". The young princess feels excluded from the family and doesn't know her place in the cycle of life and Laini knows exactly where to "hit".

Kovu and Kiara will have a lot of headaches and hard work ahead of them to educate these three.
