The winners of my "Win-A-Date" with Rehema mini-contest are finally here! I totally had all these sketched before Valentine's Day, and then I just got too busy doing other things, so they didn't get finished until just a little while ago. But enough of my excuses.

The last winner is 's lioness OC "Ishara".

Story time:

Ishara stalked toward the lion. His back was to her, but she knew he heard her approach. One ear was tilted in her direction. She thought perhaps he would ignore her until she walked around in front of him, or until she spoke. So what happened next surprised her.

"Do you make a habit of sneaking up from behind?"

Ishara took a second to answer. "Only for potential prey and members of the opposite sex."

The lion laughed and got up from his sitting position. He craned his neck and turned his head to face her before slowly turning his whole body around. Ishara was surprised at how green his eyes were. And even more surprised when she found herself thinking that the scars on his nose actually complimented his features rather than detracting from them. "I'll admit I didn't hear you until you were right behind me," he said.

"Is that a compliment, Rehema?" she asked curtly, deciding to try using his name.

Rehema chuckled and responded in kind. "In the most sincere form, Ishara. My senses are quite heightened, if I say so myself. It isn't often I'm taken by surprise. Though today it seems I've been surprised twice by the same lioness - and all in less than a minute."

Ishara decided to let him play his game. She had to stop herself from rolling her eyes before she asked the obvious question he wanted to hear. "Whatever do you mean?"

Rehema moved closer to her until his black mane was just barely brushing against her chest and shoulder. "First I was surprised by your stealth skills. And then I was surpised at how beautiful you are. I don't think I've ever seen eyes like yours before. And your pelt is exotic, in a word."

Ishara felt her heart flutter at the compliments, but she tried to hide her emotions. Lions had tried their luck with her before, and more often than not failed miserably by the time they delivered the second pick-up line. But this time... was different. Rehema sounded more than a flatterer. He actually sounded... sincere? Was that the right word? Sincere will do for now, Ishara thought. "Hmm... thanks. What else 'ya got?" she said aloud before she quite realized it.

Rehema moved so that their bodies stood parallel, but faced in opposite directions. He reared on his haunches and rested one arm across her back. She arched her spine in a prelude to pleasure and leaned against him, half-hoping to knock him over. Rehema kept his balance and used his other paw to tilt her face back to look at his. His thin, black lips pulled back showing his teeth in a wicked smile. He slowly stroked her back with one paw while still touching her face with the other. "Try me."
