Well, this is the model that the stock skyline will turn into in the animation. I am very happy with the design, mostly just made up in my, head with inspiration from nfsu.
I have been playing around lots with materials and lighting, and am especially happy with the carbon fibre bonnet and the headlights.
Instead of the normal skyline I use, this time I used a three point lighting setup, done in the scnaline renderer. Although I have finished the modelling, I appreciate the comments.
It is nice and dark, so hopefully it will be good for a wallpaper, (if you do, could you please tell me, that would be the greatest compliment!)
Update
I got rid on some of the antialiasing that was on the first render.

I like how you've placed the black background around the car...making a more moody atmosphere. I love the CF hood, with the Nismo graphic. Loving those reflections too...

Hey that skyline is crazy, I’ve been meaning to model a car for some time now. How did you go about modelling it, if you could send me some sort of tutorial it would be much appreciated.

Very cool! The texture on the hood seems to be wierd a little (is it some kind of reflection?).
Overall the modeling and the textures are awesome. You've quite an imagination.

Yeah, its a carbon fibre texture, which is made of strips of black and grey fibres that are very strong and light. It does make some strange reflections.

Great modeling, would change the rims they're more "escalade" to me than skyline and the tires are just toooooo low profile to be serious. Overall a very very solid model.

i think i would put gunmetal rims on it, you could maybe even get away with black NISMO rims.

very nice, the detail looks great and I really like the lighting. The carbon fiber hood pwns hardcore, just work on the ground, needs more bumpage

I can't believe how amazing and how realistic your cars always look. You have a real talent for this - are you doing this professionally at all? If not, you should be. Well done dude, it looks fantastic. Only thing I would suggest changing is the red/orange reflections visible in the windows, they distract from the overall "blue" look of the image. The modelling, however, is brilliant. Great work mate

From what i can see, (not opening the image, it will take like 4 hours to load)
The shadow i think needs to come out further at the back of the car. The light on the ground seems to stretch backwards and yet the shadow seems to be directly under the car. The lines from the front spoiler flow so very very in to the car itself. Cudous to you. The front spoiler needs to have the cooler slot lower to the ground and also make it longer, ie from top to bottom. Does it have disc rotars ?? i cant really tell from the thimbnail but a nice shiny rotar would stand out quite nicely. Also maybe turn the wheel to give off a shine on the tred.
To top it off a nice set of blue undercar neons.
To go over the top you could add a fully sick boost gauge but thats up to you !

looks very nice.... tires look a bit too skinny for my liking.. beef those up, and raise thta ground clearance... i mean its street isnt it
