Prologue

Rimespike is an eccentric warrior who is the antithesis of his mate Darkbush whom he joined FrozenClan with.

Year 1

Rimespike was chosen to mentor Dawnpaw, he noticed that Dawnpaw was feeling nervous of making mistakes so he tells Dawnpaw of his many mistakes making him feel more comfortable. Wolfrock and Rimespike do not like each other as Rimespike disparages his work complaining about how herbs are so boring and making jokes about the younger tom. Rimespike found an injured Plumwing on the Straight Path and helped rush him to the medicine cat while on a border expansion patrol with: Darkbush, Flyneedle & Tawnyfeather. Rimespike is excited when his mate Darkbush announces that she's pregnant, giving birth to Wormkit. While Darkbush was recovering from giving birth he went hunting with Minnowbrook when they found Luck dead, and a starving abandoned kit nearby. He quickly rushed the kit back to camp and to Darkbush who readily agreed to let the kit suckle. Falling quickly in love with the young kit they decide to adopt her into the family and name her Barkkit. He was chosen as his adopted daughter- Barkpaws mentor due to her extremely shy nature.
