Brightkit joined FrozenClan with her parents Tawnyfeather and Minnowbrook as well as her older brother Dawnpaw. Brightpaw was apprenticed to Darkbush she is desperate to go hunting to show that she is the best apprentice ever. Her mentor Darkbushs became pregnant so her father Tawnyfeather mentored her to the end of her apprenticeship. While on a herba gathering patrol Brightpaw asks Wolfrock about a strange dark, shadowy place in her dreams, Wolfrock has been giving her weird looks ever since. Darkbush influenced her to be more likely to dwell on things and resort to violence and Tawnyfeather influenced her to be more likely to interact with others and use her teeth and claws over words. They both influenced her to be become better at teaching. She graduated late at 14 moons old and where honoured for their consideration. She became a bit of a clan hero when with a little help from her parents managed to chase off a large dog.
