Description This was my first attempt at stop motion. I had my friend stick a needle in a balloon after a coundown from 5 to 0, we tried to feel eachothers rhytm and got it at second attempt. I had just the right settings for the intact balloon, but sadly the sun reflected to much light thru the water once the balloon was broken. This is why the shot is over-exposed, despite that it was shot at 1/6400 second shutterspeed.
I think I could have gone for a slower shutterspeed, and higher f/number. Tell me what you think ?

- this is the first in a series, and I will try to make each more advanced and better then the previous

Nice photo, the trick is to take multipictures while you are doing this, if you have that opportunity. So if you take 32, atleast 1 of them are awesome. It will even become a little film

I think the water looks better overexposed or the whitey colour, more like a powder than anything, gives it more of a solid feel. Did you do a series of multi succession shots while the balloon popped or is this the only one?

I did a serious of.. multi unsuccesful shots, this is the only one that I actually hit on the right time. My goal, is to take it 1/8000 of a second after the burst, so we could actually see the rubber pealing off a balloon shaped huuge drop of water... I dont know if its even possible, but wouldnt that be insane? thanks for your comment,

If you want to capture the balloon pealing off you are going to need to fire at a speed probably greater than 1/800 to refrain from getting blur. And the only way to do that is with flash in a dark room. Make the flash go fast..not your camera.
