my halloween look last weekend
simple but quite convincing if i may say so myself. reactions where priceless.
when people saw me driving my car their jaws dropped xD
went to the movie theatre aswell, wich is always really crowded during halloween night. making a low grunting noise so people look over their shoulders and get spooked was pretty fun.
also some people would just keep on staring and come closer to see wich part is mask and wich isnt
it's a zipper glued to my face and blended with skin color paint, and red face paint on the inside. the zipper face has been done before by others, and when i tried it myself, turns out its not that hard as it might seem.
done in about an hour, maybe 1hr 30.
i didnt wear any lenses, my eyes are photoshopped in this picture to give it even more of a dramatic effect.
i am not a makeup, costume or gore effects artist. this is my first try at the zipper face, and i didnt have a whole lot to work with. i'm mostly a digital painter and traditional airbrusher.

You know... until you said it was glued to your face I thought it was a mask made by a make-up artist's resin. Then I could faintly see where it was glued and painted.

i couldnt move my eyebrows or turn my head to the sides (at least not too much) but it was quite alright. i was afraid the amount of glue i put onto my skin would pull my skin when i moved, but that wasn't the case. it came off from itself aswell, didnt have much trouble removing it

my frend did something like that, she stck a zip on her face then painted it red... but it didnt look as efective...

I think it would have been better if you blended the zipper"skin" makeup better... and shaved your chin/lip hair.. No offense (I love the concept) but these 2 things are kind of a distraction and take away from the awesomeness

actually, it came off from itself, didnt have any trouble removing it. after an hour or two it fell off by itself
i was quite worried i would lose some skin when i used that much glue though
