my halloween look last weekend
simple but quite convincing if i may say so myself. reactions where priceless.
when people saw me driving my car their jaws dropped xD
went to the movie theatre aswell, wich is always really crowded during halloween night. making a low grunting noise so people look over their shoulders and get spooked was pretty fun.
also some people would just keep on staring and come closer to see wich part is mask and wich isnt
it's a zipper glued to my face and blended with skin color paint, and red face paint on the inside. the zipper face has been done before by others, and when i tried it myself, turns out its not that hard as it might seem.
done in about an hour, maybe 1hr 30.
i didnt wear any lenses, my eyes are photoshopped in this picture to give it even more of a dramatic effect.
i am not a makeup, costume or gore effects artist. this is my first try at the zipper face, and i didnt have a whole lot to work with. i'm mostly a digital painter and traditional airbrusher.

oh, that could be, as i stated down at the info bar, it's been done by others before. i believe it originates from a youtube vid called zipper face or something along that line..

There was this one girl specifically that I remember on you tube who did a tutorial for a zipper face, and it was awesome. If I can find it I will show you but at the moment I canβt find it, and she is on da somewhere, you should check her out, she has some pretty neat stuff.

This is really really REALLY awesome. It would look better if you didn't have facial hair, but I can't expect you to shave just for a costume. :/

I really like the effect the hair gives. Makes him look like he's the stereotypical Satan possessing a body or something.

2 weeks without shaving mine and it will look like that LOL damn it grows to fast... and shit i like it like it is man! amazingly gave an evil look

the face paint was quite easy to remove, but indeed took a bit longer to get out of the beard though

I used face paint one time, an it took a two hour shower of non-stop scrubbing to remove it.
