Description
Aaand another mask! A crow this time. I have to find a better model mask to work off of. I had to widen the wings because the head of the model was too thin. It fits pretty well on a real face now, though. This mask has sold, but I do commissions for those interested in a similar one.

Depends. A small mask such as this is $50, a half-mask is $70, and a full mask varies depending on how complex it is..

I'm afraid it's already sold. However, if you have the interest, I can make a similar mask.

For a small mask it wouldn't take long. A few days to a week. Just drop me a note when you're ready!

Nope! A clay like substance from South America, though. A sort of faux-porcelain.

Wow... I love the feathers. When I saw the deviation title I thought it would just be a typical crow mask, with a long black beak for the nose, but then I view it and it's an actualy crow!
Most excellent.

The hardest part was getting the crow to sit still for it. ;D

I can imagine...
I tell you, crows simply will not sit still.
Just brimming with energy.

This is beautiful! Your masks are always so awesome!
-Here's a suggestion for the mask base problem you're having.
Sculpt larger/wider facial features overtop of your plastic mask base to get the size/s you desire.
I use a non-drying, cheap clay for my sculpted mask bases and they work really well. I've got a couple differant sized sculpted mask bases laying around...if I like one and it works well than I hate to tear it down only to have to rebuild it again later.
Good luck on it!
