Description
I based this mask on the Ghost of Christmas Present from the Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens...with a few elements of Father Christmas thrown in. The face is tinted with several layers of copper and gold, with a striking star on the forehead. He also has a crown of holly, berries, and iced leaves. This mask is roughly 9" tall by 6" wide. It was entirely hand sculpted and painted and has my stamp on the back. This mask is $250 and may be found here- [link]

Voila! A verdant visage, here to vehemently vanquish the violent vicissitudes of our modern world and vindicate the holiday spirit.
And so on and so on...

I love this mask! Its so bold and powerful. The grin is creepy yet striking. And I love the star on his head. The leaves are a nice touch and so are the holly berries. great job! What did you use to make it? Paper Mache? Clay?

Absolutely gorgeous. <3 I immediately thought Father Christmas when I saw it but that sort of suits the ghost of Christmas Present anyway, at least imo. ^^

Buff Buff Buff Totally amazing! there's an incredible character to this mask and a really nice combination of ideas, the burnished red facial hair, the Christmas star and the huge rosy cheeks creating a fantastic collection of christmas. I find the teeth a little scary, the dirty gold reminding me of sleazy old pirates (Sorry sorry) but it's beautifully crafted, and must look regal on a person with the correct costume. Magnificent!

Gorgeous craftsmanship! This really captures the essence of Christmas Present while still holding that Greek-Tragedy vibe.

Well thanks. ^_^ I've always been a fan of the more baroque style of christmas ornaments. Lots of gold, green and red!
