I just got another betta. Hee hee. He's so cute. I spent a bit of time taking pictures of him. He started to turn when this one was taken, and it just turned out beautifully. He looks so confused, the poor thing! Man I love crowntails.Related content

Small fish store in Indianapolis. They didn't usually have very nice ones, but I lucked out. Unfortunately, he's been suffering some tail rot something fierce lately despite medication. Well, maybe he's getting on in age.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Fish are nice like that, though. Especially bettas. They're inquisitive, so they'll come right up to you. Or try to, anyway.

Fish enver stop moving, really. Everything that moves comes out blurry if the flash isn;t on, or if there isn't an insane amount of light already. With the flash my doggy's eyes are all weird. But he's always panting, blinking, moving his head, or something.

Hmm. I guess you just need to try and predict when it is they'll stop a second before they do. Certainly, I went through a lot of shots where they moved. But that's the nice thing about having a digital camera.
