YES IT'S FINALLY HERE!I decided to make a tutorial on how I make my flash games. It's a very simple tutorial, but I provide all the coding and stuff that you need.
I highly encourage you all to get creative and have fun! Also, it's not required, but I'd like to see what you all come up with! C:
Don't worry about crediting me, you may do so if you wish but I don't have any problem if you don't!
Also, I'll try to answer any questions you all have~

Awesome tutorial, it's great for beginners though, in my opinion AS2 is a little outdated :S

It's VERY outdated, however, it's the simplest way I can think to explain to a group of people with no AS experience, you know?

That's now how it works, explaining ActionScript as a language is pretty simple, the problem comes when people uses tutorials just to copy-paste code.
It is better to provide JUST basic documentation, thus people will actually look up and learn by themselves.

You might want to redo a couple things and head back a couple steps since I can't actually see where on your timeline the mistake was made. Can you show me a screen shot? Is your actionscript on the right area?

im using macromedia because i heard its the same as flash since adobe purchased it so i decided id give it a whirl when i saw this tutorial
but yeah i might restart since the drawing doesnt really.. look as how i imagined it now.. but then again its practice
and yes, ive tried to go back some steps, maybe twice now, and ive still been getting stumped at this exact part

You sure you're using AS2? And yes, doing his reaction animation is pretty vital because if nothing is there, it won't look like anything is happening. Practice is always good! You should try to start some things over and take it slow?
