YES IT'S FINALLY HERE!I decided to make a tutorial on how I make my flash games. It's a very simple tutorial, but I provide all the coding and stuff that you need.
I highly encourage you all to get creative and have fun! Also, it's not required, but I'd like to see what you all come up with! C:
Don't worry about crediting me, you may do so if you wish but I don't have any problem if you don't!
Also, I'll try to answer any questions you all have~
Have fun and share your knowledge! ^_^Little or some knowledge of Flash is recommended!

I got everything right, but it can only play once, the loops enabled but I can only make it interact once. How do I prevent that?

Well... I got that right, but it's still not working. I even got one for the cheek, but it just stops on the last frame, it doesn't even resume playing... The stop action is at the end of every animation sequence on the Actionscript layer...

i was at Odobe, but it only said if i wanted to open o file or send stuff to people how to i get to the place where i can pick actionscript 2.0??????????????????????????????????????????????Β

Right now I have the Adobe Flash Professional CC and there's only an ActionScript 3.0, and I'm stuck at the part where you have to put Stop();, as I couldn't find anything to type it into.Β sta.sh/017gfzss5sma

I'm not sure if anyone has asked this yet but... Is the 'gotoAndPlay' action really suppose to be in the very first frame of the mouth layer, cause i don't think it should be there cause as i looked through the different pages of the tutorial, the first keyframe of the mouth layer stayed the same, it should have an 'a' but it doesn't have it.
But if it's suppose to be there... Then the command isn't working...

the gotoandPlay is a part of the code that should be on ANY layer that you want to initate an action with. It shouldΒ be on the OUTSIDE of the movie clip. The mouth, in this case, was a movie clip. And all it does it tell the person to click on that movie clip, to be sent to keyframe #5, then that plays out an animation or reaction.

Well... I put the command on any layer as what you just said. But it's still not working, the mouth is the button as told in the tutorial... It's everything as shown in the tutorial.
Whenever i test the animation and click on the mouth, it shows this compiler error saying:Β
"Mouse events are permitted only for button instances"Β

OH! I'm sorry hun, it's not supposed to be a movie clip, it's a button. You have to change the symbol to a button, or it won't know that it's clickable

I made the mouth, converted into button and drew the animation inside it. And i'm still confused about the 'gotoAndPlay' command... What should i do to prevent that error from occurring and make the interaction work properly?

You have to buy flash, it is an adobe product and not on your computer already. It is a software and you can find it on adobe's website. (Not the free flash player, which you download to view things like Youtube videos and online games.) But! You can get a free trial of Flash Professional for a while. ^^ I am about to myself.
