Cloud looked at her curiously. “Hm?”
Aerith triumphantly held up the flower crown in her hands. “Like it?”
“Oh. That’s impressive,” he said, leaning closer to get a better look. But she just gently placed it on his head, and he stared at her for a moment. “Uh…”
She pursued her lips and tapped them with her finger. “Looks good!” she said. The flowers—mostly white and blue, with a dash of purple—made his hair stick up even more messily than usual, and softened his every feature.
He huffed, bringing a hand up to hover over the flowers. “Cheesy.”
