Description
Pen and ink, mostly Gillot 303 and 190. That's as good as I can get the scan. I have have been dipping in and out of this one since the beginning of the ear. It's just short of A3.Related content

Depends on which way you think is up and probably best viewed through slightly closed eyes (serious). Glad you like it. Thanks for the favourite.Β

Pretty time consuming though. I've been working on it in my drawing class. My gradients never look that smooth. But I'm sure I will get better with practice.

Come the Xmas break I'm going to try and make a stipple machine using an electric carving knife body with an attachment for the pen. If it works I'll put it in my journal.

Almost welcome! I think this one is a bit different than your "normal"(awesome!) artworks, but yeah, it's dat pretty cool Namtar-style in there.

I thimnk it is difficult to get the deepth of a figure just with dots. They all make you crazy. But you have done a brilliant work here.

Thank you, it looks slightly better in reality, I think all the dots confuse the scanner, especially in the middle section.Β

So the technic has its limits.

Yes, guess it does. Ultimately it is only proof that when necessary, I have the patience to put thousands of dots onto paper and that does not really confer artistic value on something. Its probably a technique best used in conjunction with other pen and ink methods or for relatively small images.Β
