Después de su decepcionante intento por conseguir que Bambi la incluyera en las actividades de macho, Gurri se fue donde Faline y ambas fueron a la pradera para hacer las habituales actividades de hembras. En la pradera se encontraron con Rolla y Lana. Rolla rápidamente empezó a conversar con Faline. Por su lado, Lana se acercó a Gurri y felizmente preguntó por Geno.

Lana: "¡Hola Gurri! hace días que no nos vemos, te ves bien. ¿Cómo está Geno? ¿Le va bien con sus lecciones con el Gran Príncipe Bambi?"
Gurri: "Va todo excelente Lana, no tienes qué preguntarlo, es obvio" - Respondió malhumorada y algo sarcástica.
Lana: "Eh... ¿Gurri? ¿Ocurre algo?"

Las demás se quedaron perplejas, sobre todo Rolla y Faline, sus miradas eran más de decepción, pues sabían la razón de las inquietudes de Gurri.

Faline: "Hija... si tu padre no quiere integrarte en sus actividades con tu hermano no es porque lo considere su hijo favorito, o no te quiera. Tiene sus razones, y es porque ellos son machos, tienen sus propias actividades de machos, tu eres una hembra y las hembras no pelean ni se entrenan para ser protectoras del bosque"
