Day 18 of POKEDDEX: Favorite BirdHonchkrow's design is so cool. It was weird at first, but when I realized what it was I was like, "Dude! Mafia bird! That's sick!". When I looked up reference to draw him, I read it's Japanese name was Donkarasu ("Don" as in the honorific and "karasu" as in "crow" in Japanese), which made Honchkrow even cooler. :'D

I really like the ganster pokemon, and with the new games coming out, we will get a few new ones to defend their turf. Between the mafia-like Honchkrow, the punk gangster Scrafty, and now the thug brawler Pangoro, I'm pretty tempted to draw up a standoff or brawl between the three.

Everyone says that Honchkrow is badass. I ran out of dusk stones right when i needed it.

lol aw, that's alright. The first time I got a Duck Stone, I used it to get Mismagius.
Though Honchkrow's Dark/Flying type is a real nice plus.
I'm still attached to some of the Japanese names. Like Scolipede's: Pendoraa. I still call it that that I have to correct myself every time. :'D

yeah, better than the normal/flying types i must say. There are very few good birds in Pokemon. I hear Braviary is good though.

true that, or at least their designs should look better. Braviary looks really cool and I think stat wise it's pretty good, but it doesn't really know any cool, unique moves, so I never used it. :/

Oh yeah, definitely better than Unfezant. Hmm, replacement wise, at least as far as birds go, I'd recommend Archeops, one of the fossil Pokemon you get later. It's tough though, both fossil Pokemon are pretty sweet in this version.

Hmmm... Which would you suggest? I had my eyes on the other one... er... Carracosta, only because of the attack and defense stats.

Out of the two fossils? I picked Archeops because it's attack and speed are better than Carracosta's attack and defense combined. I tend to sway more towards speed than defense, so Archeops was the better choice.

Hmmm... ok then.
Aw... Armaldo was pretty awesome if you knew how to use it right. Of course she had her weaknesses and strengths, but overall i loved it.
