My interpretation of Molly, a lot of artistic license is taken here. Especially since i can't remember most of the ingame descriptions

The background is generated seperately based on 1920s chicago, which is not far off the game's inspiration

How this was made:

1. Mental design. I imagined how molly looked. This is important to note because shadows over loathing has stickman graphics, a lot of her appearance comes from my own imagination

2. 36 iterations in midjourney, variations on the prompt. The first prompt used was

"molly buttons, the cheerful smirking mafioso, a readheaded straight-haired irish lass who wears a waistcoat suit and carries a tommy gun"

the final prompt used to get the resulting molly was:

"molly buttons, the cheerful smirking freckled mafioso wielding a tommy gun across her body in both hands, a readheaded straight-haired irish lass who wears a black waistcoat with tie shirt and trousers, black leather shoes, full body view --no jacket coat hat green curly pistol"

3. Moved molly into stable diffusion and started inpainting the gun. Six iterations of 12-image sets

4. moved molly to photoshop and cut her out from the brown background, the hair was a pain

5. Generated background in midjourney using prompt: "run down mean streets of 1920s chicago, under a lamppost"

6. Molly and Background both scaled up in stable diffusion, using combined BSRGAN and SwinIR4x scaling methods. molly to 2.5x size, background to 3x size

7. Composited in photoshop, then uploaded here, and in steam artwork section for the game
