I made this for my friend Dal, , who’s an excellent composer and has made a number of really wonderful fanworks for Homestuck. His most recent piece of music is called “sw33t cr33per” (which you can listen to here: [link] ), inspired by Nepeta and the facets of her personality that a lot of the fandom I think overlooks—how strong and passionate she is, in addition to being all of the kawaii, of course. It’s also shares some elements with his other piece “9 Lives, 1 Love” off the coloUrs and mayhem: Universe A album (which you can also listen to here: [link] ), about the relationship between the Sufferer and his Disciple and how it’s echoed by Nepeta’s love for Karkat. I was listening to “sw33t cr33per” one day for the majority of my commute home, and the sketch for this picture kind of spilled out. Hope you like it, dude!
