I wasn’t going to color this. Be staggered by my willpower.Anyhoo, ever since I saw a tumblr photoset of Feferi, Sollux, Tavros, and Nepeta being all buddy-buddy with their Ancestors, I’ve wanted to add Equius to the list, holding out his broken bow and arrows to his ancestor. Darkleer would put one of his huge, heavy hands on Equius’ shoulder and tell him it’s okay, and he’s not the only one who’s ever broken a good thing.
Equius doesn't get enough love. I was sad Darkleer didn't get his own track on the "coloUrs and mayhem" album. Why does no one love my bby? ;A;
I just have a lot of feelings about my patron troll, okay?

Oh lawd, me too. I'm still so pissed at Gamzee for what he did to Equius and Nepeta, and I'm even a little resentful that Karkat ended up as his moirail (I was pulling hard for Karkat <> Kanaya). I don't care how much he reverts back to cute goofball Gamzee, ain't no way I'll ever like him the way I used to again.

I know he's got one on Tomb of the Ancestors, but I have coloUrs and mayhem--what was the name of the song? Did it get cut before release or something, or am I just dumb? 'Cause me being dumb is always a possibility

Well, when ColoUrs and Mayhem was initially released it had both a song for Darkleer and The Grand Highblood. My friend hooked me up with that version, before the songs were cut, I heard it was because of some sort of copyright issue or something like that, I'm not too sure. But Darkleer's song is 'Indigo Archer', and I think it's actually quite brilliant
