The title says it. It makes me so sad that I never see any ClausTen art anymore ;-; On here or Tumblr... The only other avid ClausTen fan I know of is akai-koutei :'D And even he's too busy with life to draw these cutie pies that often

Man, I used to love Lucas more than Claus as well, but the more I think about Mother 3 and draw him (and see other people's drawings of him) the more I love him. Dammit Claus, you're too precious.
I love seeing how different people draw Claus' hair, haha. They're all so different. Even the way I draw it now is different from how I used to.
I think you can learn a lot from drawing other people's styles. Even coping it directly can influence in the development of your own style. I actually go around sometimes sketching other people's styles directly ('course I don't post those anywhere), but I can say I learn a lot from doing that. It's a nice time killer exercise to so as well.

Both of those twins really are just too perfectβ₯ The Clos has been so much. As well as da Lucus. Ughadkjf;jk ;-; Drawing them both is so fun :'D It's so awesome seeing so many different interpretations of Claus~ I have too many senpais so my style with him is always changing really :')

That's so true, actually. And being only 15, I'm still trying to perfect my own style. With all of the inspirations, it's difficult to pick just one style to go with ;w; But I'm pretty happy with my current style(s) so hopefully those should remain the same for a little bit :'D I've copied, still do sometimes (ofc no posting) and it gives me a chance to see what makes me feel comfortable~ However, I've mashed some weird styles together and they've made some interesting things :'D
For the time being, I've been sketching Clausy in other artist's styles~ Their styles are all so different but it's really fun to just make some kind of attempt to do it :'D

You should look at my older Mother sketches, there's quite a big style development.
Like seriously, start from this page. kanis-major.tumblr.com/tagged/β¦ . These were from last year. I experiment a heck of a lot and somehow people still can see my style in all of it.
I think the reason why I never get bored of drawing Mother fanart is because of the range of styles you can draw the characters in. The characters have such simple (but charming) designs. I see much more diversity of styles in Mother fanart than any other fanart to be honest.
Doesn't matter how old you are really, every artist is (or should) be constantly developing their style. Also, don't limit yourself! A range of styles is great! In fact having multiple styles is better than having just one or two.
Man, you don't know how much I enjoy drawing Claus. But take a look at this first drawing I've done of his Masked Man self:

I look at that and I cringe. I think I should redraw it.
