Lol. Me thinks this is beginning. You're right, I think it's too lame to be Kubo's style. There have been several instances where characters have been thought to be dead throughout the series but it was simply that their spiritual pressure was too low to be felt. When you think about it, barely anyone was killed during the war with Aizen. Seems a little too early for Byakuya or anyone else to be down and out yet. Mwah ha ha haa! I sense intrigue!
