Unless this is the last arc...people are dropping like flies which is a break from Kubo's writing style, which hints at his understanding of losing some of his fan base. The only way a company would be willing to take the hit, (especially after keeping characters alive when they should have died) is if the product is coming to a close.

I recall in one of the interviews that with the anime cancelling, they only have two or three last arcs planned and that was including "Ichigo's shinigami powers return" arc...it is quite possible that the company will drop out sooner than later.
