After the events of Gaia Everfree and their safe return home, Sunset and Flash start becoming closer and hanged out as friends from time to time. As time passed both decided to try going out again, this time in the proper way.
Some years later Flash finally popped the question and not long after they had Flare. When Flare Blast was old enough Sunset was more than happy to visit Equestria an show Flare the place she was born, Flare in the other hand was a little skeptical, the moment they crossed the portal they were welcomed with a surprise,it seemed that Flare as well as her mother was an unicorn.

They of course had to pay a visit to Twilight. Magic was a whole new concept the colt had never thought he would used or be introduced to, interested in the whole thing Flare took a decision, he wanted to learn about it, and so he became Twilight's student. The decision was unexpected to Sunset and Flash, but they trusted Twi with everything and knew she would care for their son. From time to time they visit Flare Blast or viceversa.
