I think what she was saying was that usually anything cute and fluffy automatically=disney, no matter what. What I'm saying is that no matter which way you look at this kangaroo he doesn't look like a mutant koala (stitch)
The ears are set on stitch more to the sides of his head (*see the link for the model sheet) [link]
His colors are totally different, eyes, posture, hands, feet, tail, nose...i can go on. The fact is even the colors are off, stitch is WAY darker than my roo here. I'm sorry if I seem like I'm really going off about it, it's just that, when ever anyone draws anything moderatly cute, it's automatically shoved into a Disney-esque catagory, and it's just...NOT.
