I've done this piece for a good friend. and I worked really hard on this piece. I put a lot of feeling into it.You'll notice too that I did use a reference. Here: [link]
Mostly for Tau's expression, however Cougari and Balaa kinda go from him.

I know this is a year old but I wanted to comment on it anyways
The lineart and conception for this piece are excellent! I mean the characters have a flow to them and you can feel the mirth they're feeling just by looking at them. This is really awesome

That looks so awesome Nanook! I love how the lineart has a kind of... edge to it and the shading is brilliant... I can see the feeling put into this, you can really tell that you're all very close friends! I'm liking the simple yet very effective background, and how the border fades out where the characters are. A brilliant picture, I must fav!
