God, I love these things! I've enjoyed looking at other people's influence maps, which made me want to do one as well! Though it was tough to find things to put, because I like many artists and things, but I had to choose those that actually INFLUENCED me.
Well, here goes! PREPARE FOR A LONG DESCRIPTION OF EACH INFLUENCE!
From largest to smallest (roughly):
Lulu: She's probably one of my biggest influences. I think I've come across her works several times before actually deciding to devWatch her. At a mere 17 year-old, this girl can draw and color like a pro! She made an improvement meme and it blew my mind that she improved so quickly! Every time I see her art, it reminds me of the determination I have to be as good as her! Her skills are my dream. To create the amazing CGs that she does, that is what I strive for. The pic I chose in particular is one that inspires me. It is here:
2. Nagata: Absolutely awesome MFB Daidouji fanartist. This Japanese artist is a HUGE influence to me. I stumbled across her site one day when I was looking for some Daidouji fanart, and I found more than I was looking for. If you've been to her site, it's very obvious that she LOVES Daidouji (hey, kinda like me...) because she draws him so much. I found her back in the summer time before entering college. That's when I decided that I would learn to draw anime and draw my fav MFB character like her! I often look at her works to see what my Daidoujis could use improving on, because she captures his expressions so damn well. Her site is here:[link]
3. City of Boston: God, I LOVE this city and I LIVE here, too (for college)! I've always loved the city and have wanted to live there since my first visit. It was love at first sight! In Boston, we have a ton of art museums, historical background, beautiful architecture, and diversity! Tons of college students (from Harvard and MIT, to BU and BC,) live here, so we'd like to think it's a pretty intellectual city as well. The city has so much for me to be inspired and influenced by. I love the night skylines and architecture there. I want to put it in a drawing someday when I'm skilled enough. The area in the pic is the Financial District.
4. Redjuice: This guy is so skilled! I know, everyone has this dude on their influence maps, but that's because he's just a master artist in the anime art industry. His use of mechanical objects in his stuff is so cool, and I want to have some sort of focus like that. His stuff looks like cool sigs you see in graphics forums.
5. Poppy: Here she is! I think her art also played a major role in convincing me to draw. She's a very talented and nice deviant that I came across when my love for Beyblade revived after the years. I love her CG painting style and how it comes out so smooth and crisp. I always feel so welcome when I comment on her art and journals and she responds too! I always thought popular artists would never respond, but she always does! For that, I've connected with her and she's been encouraging me to practice my way into becoming a great artist! I used her pic of Kyouya because I loved the way it was painted and the eyes looked so pretty! *_*

6. MFB: God, if it weren't for this kiddy anime, I wouldn't even be an artist. I mean, yeah the art style isn't my favorite, but there's a lot to like about MFB. The story actually has some plot in it, and it's a good balance of seriousness and comedy. The characters are the best part, IMO. I believe almost every character has a fan or two out there (yes, even people like Benkei.) The newer characters that have been popping up, such as Zeo Abyss and Damian Hart, have been recent favorites of mine. So, I like to draw them, which motivates me to practice! (especially Daidouji! ) I'm a fantard, I know.
7. Pros on Pixiv: *_* This site of filled with fantastic anime artists, and I'm not exaggerating! Imagine the number of the most popular anime artists here on dA. Blow up that number to the extreme and you've got Pixiv. There's a lot of great art that I see there. A lot of that art gives me the chance to see all kinds of CG painting styles. The pros in particular.. wow. I always look at their stuff and it gives me motivation! I dream of being that good. *sigh* I'm such a dreamer.
8. huke: I love his stuff! He's the creator of the ever so popular Black Rock Shooter, who I also love. I really love his dark, grungy style, while maintaining points of beauty. BRS's eyes really inspire me to go into more detail with my eye style. So, I'm always changing my eye style until I'm satisfied.
9. ARIA: One of my favorite anime! I love Kozue Amano's art style and the backgounds she creates, not to mention the world of Neo Venencia, is gorgeous. The series creates this easygoing feel and it's about appreciating everything as time goes on. If I ever make a story, I want to make something like that.

DONE! If you read everything, you get a gold star, cause I rambled far too much. Doing this was lots of fun, and I learned a bit more about the artist in me. Try it out sometime.
