YAY for new shading techniques!+ commission #20
+ devART commission #4
I also tried to do an "ungeneric" pose in a ref for once. Her wings didn't give me much of a choice either way...heh. The face on the full view is crap, but the bigger one is cool.
Alltho I forgot to colour the rainbow earring. (ironically) and I had a hard time drawing the rats, so I simply hid them in the pocket.
All should wish Dianne luck and send many hugs cause she lost her house recently!!

I like the new layout of this, and the breaking-out-of-the-mold posing. Nice job there! All the accessories that you listed and all are cool too,... though I've never seen GIR before. I don't like the style of the cartoon either so... I've opted to stay away from it. lol... just like I do with all the crap cartoons these days... ANYWAY... sorry. lol.
I really love your exploration of new shading techniques! It looks really nice! Since you don't want any critique... I'll leave it alone. lol. You do know that what makes a good artist is an artist who can take critique and not get all offended by it. And even if you think you may know what's wrong with it, someone might come along one day and point out something you wouldn't even have thought of. It happened to me quite recently actually... but yeah. Just something to think about.
Overall, I think this is a really great example of your best work yet. Definitly keep record of this one (i.e. save it on your comp, print high quality prints of it) for your portfolio if you do plan on going to arts school of some sort. which you should since you have such amazing talent!
