Say konnichiwa to Aby's mate, Washi-Hane.This didn't turn out nearly as well as the previously submitted one of Abydos. geh. But then again there's 2 factors - 1: this is the first time I've drawn Washi and 2: I had to go to sleep relatively early since I have to go to work in about an hour or so. x__x; So this was seriously rushed. The only 2 things about it I don't like are his capri pant things, which I plan to fix with simple stitching below the stripes. And that his feet are small and cramped....I could barely fit them on the cardstock. ;_; So one of my original focal points was ruined again.
Another aspect, is that I have never drawn a bow and arrow before, please cut me some slack here. Washi-Hane's (eagle feather in Japanese) "weapon" is the bow when Abydos's is a knife or I've even considered a spear. Cause their deadly sickle-claws are considered more of a last resort cause of past issues.
There's plenty more to discuss, but my descriptions have been awfully lengthy lately. Sorry about that.

Looks pretty good from here. Oh, If it's not too much to ask, o you know of, or think you could make a tutorial for raptor anhros like this? I made a character after looking throught some of your, Horus-Goddess, Rizyu-Kaizen, and Majime's galleries, but so far they haven't come of quit the way I want them to

Washi is so pretty <3 Once again, the coloring is very nice. I like his outfit too, with the earth tones and tribal kind of look. The green beads are a nice touch, too. A good splash of contrasting color.
And, you know, I just noticed that he and Abydos are complementary colors. Clever idea :3

I seriously love his design, and I love the odd sort of composition thats at work in this piece and the use of yellow, generally its hard to pull of yellow in a character and make it look good, but I love how this look, and this character rocks my world.

Very contrastive to Abydos, DEFINITELY appealing to the eyes. <3 And the yellow isn't ... like .. obnoxious, so another + for that! Even more Native American tribalistic, eh? ;D Loving the splash of curiosity in his eyes to the arrow -- makes me wonder if he's examining the shaft to see how straight a shot it might be? By the way, your bow and arrow anatomy is -fine-.
He seems like a very calm and thoughtful raptor, to me. ¦D
P.S. - Sure, you might have been in a rush and made a few noticeable mistakes here and there, but who doesn't? ;3 Still, it's an overall wonderful piece, so no worries.
