TL;DR Version -- Please stop accusing me of stealing anthro raptors from Marie Whatley (=Horus-Goddess ). As a matter of fact, if you speak to her personally, she admits to have gotten the idea from me first over 4 years ago - in [this] image and [that] one too. Our creations have nothing in common, cut it out.

I really would've thought that this problem had died the past almost 3 years that I've forced my character Abydos (the one on the right) into an artistic hibernation, by not drawing her to avoid the drama. But you know, ignorance is bliss right? Unfortunately, there was an incident just a few days ago: I gave *RaowenBlackbird rights/permission to use my Trei-Klaw concepts & story to create her own [character] . She was approached by a fan of HG's work stating that "Nanuka stole those from Marie, you may need to talk to her about that." along those lines & it just brought back some boiled blood in me.

I drew this up in my frustration to downright make it obvious that the raptor anthros that I drew and the ones that Marie owns, have absolutely nothing in common aside from the concept. How someone in blind fandom, could assume they both came from the same artist, is beyond me. The only difference is that HG was shy-rocketed into 1mil+ pageviews and popularity with her character(s) - so everyone drops the assumption that she's the almighty one & only creator. It gets under my skin to be accused of stealing from someone whom I gave the idea to in the first place.

Please, just stop. It's idiocy like such that makes me suppress my creativity simply to avoid history repeating itself. I would personally like to draw my raptor character Abydos a reference etc and yet, it'll be a waste of time to receive comment/notes again saying "HG's raptors are better" "You're almost as good as her" "You need to give HG credit for this idea" just like 3 (almost 4 now) years ago.
