To be honest, there was no intention of sharing this to begin with. But after working on it all morning as a passive "vent art" and quite frankly laughing it off afterwards, I figured -why not share the lulz?
I'm not pointing fingers or saying what's "right or wrong" (despite some snarky remarks in my general direction) but this is quite frankly the best example of the Left4Dead fandom subcategories. The Sparkle!Hunter is self-explanatory, and then there's someone like me...who literally spent weeks studying the medical history behind infection and all it's causes/stages/symptoms. And YET, I'm pegged on drawing my poor Cobalt "incorrectly".I don't care at this point, but I absolutely could not pass up the chance to draw him again...let alone make the other one that I've dubbed "GLITTRBUTT" when I made layer folders. XD It was ironically fun to design, even if only as a generic example.
Think of it this way: "If you can't laugh at your fandom, you're hardly a fan."

This made me laugh upon seeing it. XD I'd love to see a sparklezombie actually last against survivors who are armed with all kinds of weapons. Glittrbutt there looks more like a survivor attempting to pass themselves off as a hunter in my opinion. Cobalt doesn't seem to be falling for it though.

I'm a medical student and thus made my Infected as accurately... dead and sick as possible--the decomposing body bloating and bile from every facial orifice. 8] That, and because I just really like Boomers.

Cobalt seems way more hunter-y, though. Hell, I could even imagine seeing him in-game. (FFF If only.)

That is rather disturbing. I'm actually more afraid of 'glittrbutt' than I am of Cobalt. Is that wrong? Sparkles are okay for some things but compared to the love that you put into Colbat a character like 'GLITTRBUTT' just looks like a lame attempt to make a left4dead character something its not which really isnt a fan character at all. Great job Nanuka!

Haha thats the worst part of making these isn't it? You NEVER know if you got the symptos right. My Dogbrain is as dumb as a post but is it from the infection? Could be? I feel like I'm trying to be a know-it-all but then I just go crazy with it and act all 'fuck you I'll make the symptoms the way I want'.

I definitely agree with "If you can't laugh at your fandom, you're hardly a fan." Also, Cobalt is one of the few Hunter OCs that isn't "cutsy" but actually looks like it could rip out your bowels. Just the way a Hunter SHOULD be.

For example, Rose, my Huntress, has the problem of having mouthbleeds at times, due to the infection mutating her mouth/teeth. Claire, my Witch, has a tooth larger than all the others, due to the infection messing up on the mutational part. That, and it didn't help her alter ego either...
Nevertheless, I can't agree with you more.
And to top it off, your Hunter's black/yellow tape is awesome, I might give my Huntress something similar.

Another thing that annoys me is that they make their L4D OCs eat survivors... Since when did raging infected humans eat other humans?

Sorry to butt in, but I have to admit that I'm sadly guilty of that. >_< I always thought that it would be because humans were really the only source of possible food since it's likely that the healthy people would've ransacked and looted anything edible in all of the chaos. But now that you mention it, I don't actually recall reading any info about the Infected eating people.

Indeed, and agreed. All Infected show some sort of aggressiveness, except maybe the Witch, she's still a mystery to me.
